Hardy perennial plant that grows quickly. The plant needs no special care and grows in partial shade from the sun.

Cold stratification is required for comfrey seeds to germinate. Sow in autumn or winter - the seeds will germinate in Spring OR put the seeds in the fridge for 4-6 weeks. Sow 3mm deep & 60cm apart. Germination in 3-4 weeks at 21-24°C. Seed germination may be erratic.
