This romantic vintage red velvet dress was custom-made in the late 1930s (possibly early 1940s), and is entirely one-of-a-kind. The maxi-length crushed red velvet is so rich. It features a gathered empire waist, with long tailored sleeves that come to a point at the cuff. It was reworked and modernized around the 1970s, with a zipper added in the back, making it easier to wear. Because of the empire waist, this can also be an incredible vintage maternity dress. Closes in the back with a zipper.

The Antique Victorian Heart Locket pictured is also available. 

Measurements: This will best fit a size X-Small, Small and possibly Medium; please refer to below measurements. It is smaller through the shoulders and chest, with more flexibility through the waist and hips.

Empire waist/underbust: about 29", gathering offers some forgiveness there
Hips are open up to 45"
Length: 53"


Good vintage condition overall; there were some repairs made to the fabric at the bottom skirt towards hem. Wow!!! I’ve used Queen Helene’s Mint Julep for years and it works wonderfully so I thought I’d give the Almond Massage Cream a whirl. The scent is yummy, I just love almond... give me a spoon I just want to eat it since it smells so good! For the reviewers/people who answered questions about “not using it on your face”. Please just enlarge the back of the tub and it states that you can. Here’s what it says: This luxurious massage cream soothes and moisturizes with the delightful scent of almonds. Use as a massage cream for the face, neck and body. I personally pair it with Aloe/Kleenex to apply to my face to remove my make-up in the evening. It emulsifies any last drop of mascara on your lashes or debris. Then I lather my face with a mild facial cleanser like Neutrogena. Lastly to remove any residual, I gently wipe my face with a warm/hot washcloth, this leaves my skin dewy soft! I love this product! This tub will go for miles. Also, I use a bit in my hair as well, just like coconut oil creating softness and shine. Excellent product all around, in my opinion!!!
